Your privacy and safety of your data are important to us. This Privacy Statement describes the types of information that are or may be collected, used or shared by Michal Šimeček, registered sole proprietor (later "Michal Šimeček"), when you visit the website or use our services.

Michal Šimeček complies with the data protection rules under the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679. The GDPR obligates the data controller to provide the data subject with all information concerning the processing of personal data in a concise, transparent, intelligible and clear form. This Privacy Statement fulfills such informational obligation.

Purpose of Processing Data

We may collect personal information about you if you provide it to us during contacting us or registering as a client. The registered client relationships, forming the "Client Register", are established by the data subject signing a service contract for mental coaching (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). The "Marketing Register" is based on the data subject's consent on the contact form or in the service contract (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Certain data may also be processed to comply with legal obligations, such as accounting rules (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR; Act No. 563/1991 Coll., on Accounting). We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a desired service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. 

Personal data is processed only in order to fulfill one or more of the following predetermined purposes:
  • managing the customership,
  • invoicing of the registered clients, and/or
  • marketing.

Collected Data

Client Register includes the following data:
  • name,
  • date of birth,
  • address,
  • phone number, and
  • e-mail address.
Marketing Register includes the following data:
  • name, and
  • e-mail address.

Data Retention

We retain collected information only for as long as is necessary to provide you with your requested service or unless and until you ask us to delete this information while taking into account our statutory obligations such as the obligation to retain accounting documents for 10 years under the Czech Act on Accounting (Zákon č. 563/1991 Sb., o účetnictví).

Forwarding Data or Transferring Data Outside EEA Countries

We do not forward the data to third parties for marketing purposes or transfer the data outside the European Economic Area countries. We are regularly using an accounting service whose contact information is available by request. We have confirmed that our service providers follow the data protection regulation. 

Rights of the Data Subject

The data subject has the following rights, all requests related to which should be sent to simecek.coaching@gmail.com.

  • Right of access. Data subjects have the right to receive confirmation from the controller on whether or not the controller is processing personal data that concerns them.
  • Right to rectification. Data subjects have the right to demand the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning them and to have incomplete personal data completed.
  • Right to object. In certain situations, the data subject has the right to object to the processing of their personal data.
  • Right to erasure. In certain situations, the data subject has the right to have the controller erase data concerning them without undue delay. The data controller may have for example statutory requirements, such as the obligation to retain accounting documents for a certain period of time as per the Czech Act on Accounting, that can restrict this right.
  • Right to restriction of processing. The data subject can request the controller to restrict the processing of personal data concerning them.
  • Right to data portability. The data subject has the right to receive the personal data that they have provided to a controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and, if desired, transmit that data to another controller.
  • Right to withdraw consent. When the data processing is based solely on the data subject's consent, thus not on customership, the data subject can withdraw their consent.
  • Right to lodge a complaint to the supervising authority. The data subject has the right to launch a complaint to Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů) if they feel that the data protection regulation has been breached in relation to processing their personal data. Contact details of the supervisory authority:
